Founder, Forward With Dignity
A researcher, clinician, and evaluator shaped by migration, trauma, and dignity.
I am a psychosocial evaluator, researcher, and clinician whose work is shaped by lived refugee experience, migration scholarship, and trauma-informed practice.
My evaluations are designed to help attorneys present a fuller, more contextually accurate understanding of the person inside the case. Forward With Dignity grew from one core belief: people cannot be understood outside the cultural, developmental, political, and economic conditions that shaped their lives.
I was sixteen when I left Kosovo. War was coming. I did not yet have the language for what I was — asylum seeker, refugee, immigrant. Across that ocean I carried a fragile flame: my family’s hopes and the stubborn belief that a life could be built with dignity.
I created CIAS because I refused to keep watching trauma get reduced to a checklist. I founded Forward With Dignity because every person who has crossed an impossible border deserves an evaluator who recognizes both wounds and resilience.
